Ace of Shades
Emerald Rose Tripod
This is a hand stitched lampshade in shades of emerald, black, red & gold. It’s made with a black silk velvet burnout, black point d'esprit net and black diamond patterned net, all layered over a vibrant emerald silk charmeuse. It’s trimmed with black braid trim and a gorgeous and heavy rose-patterned glass fringe.
This lampshade is made with a spider fitter and is appropriate for a medium-sized table lamp with a harp and finial. It’s pictured on a 19” tall lamp with a 7” harp, but would also work with a harp a bit shorter given its squat shape. This listing is for the LAMPSHADE ONLY, but message me and I can give you some guidance on finding an appropriate lamp to pair with your new lampshade. I would recommend a lamp on the heavier side to avoid top-heaviness for this one as the fringe makes this lampshade quite heavy. I used an antique cast iron lamp.
Dimensions:
5” tall + 5” fringe
17” wide
I recommend you use an LED or low heat bulb with this lampshade to keep the silk in its best condition long-term.
Please note that while I plan to continue making and restocking this lampshade in small batches, they may vary slightly batch-to-batch due to small differences in the production of the materials used.

Please use with an LED bulb to minimize heat and keep the silk in its best condition long-term. I like 40 watt equivalent warm white LEDs.
Dust occasionally by blowing with a hair drier on cool/low settings or with a dry cleaning sponge. I like Sparkle Plenty’s “lampshade cleaner” sponge.
