This is a large one-of-a-kind hand stitched silk lampshade in shades of blue, orange, emerald and gold. It’s made with rust and metallic gold alencon lace layered over hand dyed pastel blue to emerald ombré silk charmeuse, royal blue abstract embroidered tulle layered over apricot and rust airbrushed silk charmeuse, and metallic gold mesh layered over pastel blue silk charmeuse . It’s trimmed with blue ombré-dyed rayon twist fringe, emerald glass beaded fringe, apricot and rust ombre tassels, and features Jacobean-style flower appliqués around which the rest of the lampshade is designed.

This lampshade is made with a spider fitter and is appropriate for a large table lamp or a floor lamp. It’s pictured here on a 61” tall antique floor lamp. This listing is for the LAMPSHADE ONLY, but message me and I can give you some guidance on finding an appropriate lamp to pair with your new lampshade or even help source one. I’m happy to send some links!

Dimensions:

13.5” tall + 5” fringe and tassels

12.5” x 18" wide

I recommend you use an LED with this lampshade to keep the silk in its best condition long-term. I use 40 watt equivalent warm white LED bulbs.

Care information

Please use with an LED bulb to minimize heat and keep the silk in its best condition long-term. I like 40 watt equivalent warm white LEDs.

Dust occasionally by blowing with a hair drier on cool/low settings or with a dry cleaning sponge. I like Sparkle Plenty’s “lampshade cleaner” sponge.
