Gold, Rust & Burgundy Gradient Pleated Lampshade

This is a one-of-a-kind hand stitched silk lampshade in a style reminiscent of early 20th century designs. It’s made with gradient airbrush-dyed rust to burgundy silk chiffon pleated over matching silk charmeuse and a rich burgundy floral velvet burnout layered over amber silk charmeuse. Its trimmed with burgundy rayon fringe, burgundy acrylic beaded fringe, metallic gold braid trim and tasseled gold lurex bullion knot appliqués.

This lampshade is made with a spider fitter and is appropriate for a medium to large height table lamp or a floor lamp with a harp no taller than 8". It’s pictured here on a 25” tall table lamp with an 8” harp. 7" would be ideal. I recommend you use an LED or low heat bulb with this lampshade to keep the silk in its best condition long-term. I use warm white LED bulbs.
