Rust, Saffron & Gold Pre-Raphaelite "Horse Shoe" Lampshade

This is a hand-stitched silk lampshade in shades of rusty red, saffron, and metallic gold. It's made with a custom-printed cameo panel displaying William Holman Hunt's Pre-Raphaelite painting Isabella and the Pot of Basil (c. 1868) as well as high quality metallic gold French lace layered over rusty red silk charmeuse. It’s trimmed with saffron tassels, gold glass beaded fringe and metallic gold braid trim.

This lampshade is made with a spider fitter and is appropriate for a small to medium-sized table lamp with a harp and finial or a narrow socket cluster. It’s pictured on an 18.5” tall antique lamp including a 7” harp. This listing is for the LAMPSHADE ONLY, but message me and I can give you some guidance on finding an appropriate lamp to pair with your new lampshade.

8.5” tall + 3" fringe and 4" tassels

9” x 5.5” wide

I recommend you use an LED or low heat bulb with this lampshade to keep the silk in its best condition long-term. I use a 40 or 60W equivalent warm white bulb.

Please note that while I plan to continue making and restocking this lampshade in small batches, they may vary slightly batch-to-batch due to small differences in the production of the materials used.
