Winter 2025-26 Collection: Vermillion, Teal & Gold Peacock "Large Magic Carpet" Lampshade

This is a hand-stitched silk lampshade in shades of vermillion, apricot, teal, and gold. It's made with a jewel-toned peacock and floral silk velvet burnout with metallic details layered over hand-painted vermillion and apricot silk charmeuse on the front panels as well as a teal silk velvet burnout layered over teal silk charmeuse on the side panels. It’s trimmed with 6" gold, bronze and black variagated glass beaded fringe, hand-dyed teal tassels, and metallic gold braid trim.

This lampshade is made with a spider fitter and is appropriate for a medium to large sized table lamp or a floor lamp with a harp and finial or a socket cluster. It’s pictured here on an 27" tall (to the top of the harp) antique table lamp. I recommend you use an LED or low heat bulb with this lampshade to keep the silk in its best condition long-term. I usually use a 40 or 60W equivalent warm white bulb.
