Multicolored Bird & Cherry Blossom "Jon" Lampshade with Hand-Beaded Fringe

This is a medium-sized lampshade in shades of blue, pastel pink, burnt orange, and other multicolored and metallic details. It's designed around stunning bird and cherry blossom appliqués on a panel of blue point d'esprit netting layered over hand-painted blue vignette silk along with blue Deco embroidered tulle layered over pastel pink to burnt orange gradient-dyed silk side panels. The fringe is customized for this lampshade and hand-strung with Czech glass and natural mother of pearl beads. It's finished with metallic gold braid trim.

This lampshade is made with a spider fitter and is appropriate for a medium to large-sized to large table lamp or a smaller floor lamp. It’s pictured here on a 27" (not including the finial) antique table lamp. I recommend you use an LED with this lampshade to keep the silk in its best condition long-term. I use 40 watt equivalent warm white LED bulbs.
