[***Re-listed due to a previous accidental purchase] This is a one-of-a-kind hand stitched lampshade. It’s made with pieces from an antique 1920s Egyptian revival Assuit shawl featuring hammered metal pieces in geometric patterns on net. There are a couple slight imperfections on this netting, but they're not very noticeable and don't detract from its beauty. It's layered over light green and cream silks and trimmed with silver and gold variegated glass fringe and metallic silver braid trim.
This lampshade is made with a spider fitter and is appropriate for a medium-height table lamp. It’s pictured here on a 25” tall table lamp with a 7” harp. This listing is for the LAMPSHADE ONLY, but message me and I can give you some guidance on finding an appropriate lamp to pair with your new lampshade.
Dimensions:
11” tall + 4.5" glass beaded fringe
15" wide at the widest point
I recommend you use an LED or low heat bulb with this lampshade to keep the silk in its best condition long-term. I use warm white LED bulbs.
**SHIPPING NOTE: If you are located outside the US, please note that a customs fee may be due upon arrival depending on your country’s laws.
Please reach out with any questions!

Please use with an LED bulb to minimize heat and keep the silk in its best condition long-term. I like 40 watt equivalent warm white LEDs.
Dust occasionally by blowing with a hair drier on cool/low settings or with a dry cleaning sponge. I like Sparkle Plenty’s “lampshade cleaner” sponge.
