Marigold, Rust, Green & Gold “ Midsummer Eve” Lampshade

Add a bit of magic and whimsy to your space with this a one-of-a-kind hand stitched silk lampshade in shades of marigold, rust, grass green, forest green, and metallic gold. It’s made with an Edward Robert Hughes’ “Midsummer Eve” custom printed onto silk, rust point d’esprit netting layered over marigold silk charmeuse, and forest green lace layered over rust silk charmeuse. It’s trimmed with grass green beaded fringes including an ivy motif, metallic gold braid trims, and custom dyed rayon tassels.

This lampshade is made with a spider fitter and is appropriate for small to medium-sized table lamp. It’s pictured here on a 17” tall antique-style lamp. I recommend you use an LED with this lampshade to keep the silk in its best condition long-term. I use 40 watt equivalent warm white LED bulbs.
