Chartreuse, Olive & Gold Large Claw Lampshade

This is a large one-of-a-kind hand stitched silk lampshade in shades of soft green and olive that glow absinthe green when lit. It’s made with heavily-embroidered botanical silk shantung, pleated chiffon, gradient-dyed silk charmeuse and metallic gold lace trim and netting. It’s trimmed with gradient-dyed rayon fringe, metallic gold braid trim and antique French gold bullion tassels.

This lampshade is made with a spider fitter and is appropriate for a floor lamp or a very large table lamp. It’s pictured here on an antique floor lamp with an 11” harp. I recommend you use an LED with this lampshade to keep the silk in its best condition long-term. I use 40 watt equivalent warm white LED bulbs.
