Jade Green, Vermillion & Burgundy "Peony Tulip" Lampshade

This is a large lampshade in shades of jade green, vermillion, and burgundy. It's made with custom-dyed red antique crochet lace placemats with a floral/butterfly pattern layered over jade green silk charmeuse hand-painted to create a vignette effect as well as pleated burgundy silk chiffon layered over vermillion silk charmeuse. It's trimmed with heavy vermillion glass beaded fringe, hand-dyed green rayon fringe, and burgundy braid trim.

This lampshade is made with a spider fitter and is appropriate for a medium to large-sized to large table lamp or a floor lamp. It’s pictured here on a 26" (not including the finial) antique table lamp. I recommend you use an LED with this lampshade to keep the silk in its best condition long-term. I use 40 watt equivalent warm white LED bulbs.
