Multicolored Kimono Silk Mini Old Fashion

This is a small one-of-a-kind hand stitched silk lampshade in shades of rust, blue, green, cream, mustard and purple. It glows amber when lit. It’s made with two vintage kimono silks—one with an organic cloud motif and one in a small-scale geometric floral pattern. It’s trimmed with rust and green braid and hand-dyed green and blue European tassels.

This lampshade is made with a spider fitter and is appropriate for a small table lamp. It’s pictured here on an 16” antique style table lamp (including a 7” harp). I recommend you use an LED with this lampshade to keep the silk in its best condition long-term. I typically use 40 watt equivalent warm white LED bulbs.
