Periwinkle, Coral & Cream Kimono Silk "Tracy" Lampshade

This is a medium-sized lampshade in shades of periwinkle, coral & cream. It's made with vintage hand-painted floral furisode kimono silk, periwinkle pleated silk chiffon layered over cream silk charmeuse, and delicate striped mesh layered over gradient-dyed coral silk charmeuse. It’s trimmed with color blocked periwinkle and hand-dyed cream and coral silky rayon twist fringe and cream braid trim.

This lampshade is made with a spider fitter and is appropriate for a medium-sized to large table lamp or a floor lamp. It’s pictured here on a 28" (not including the finial) antique table lamp. I recommend you use an LED with this lampshade to keep the silk in its best condition long-term. I use 40 watt equivalent warm white LED bulbs.
