Winter 2025-26 Collection: Baby Blue & Gold Floral "Small Crescent Lampshade"

This is a hand-stitched silk lampshade in shades of blue and metallic gold. It's made with  denim blue pleated silk chiffon, denim blue point d'esprit, and icy blue silk satin burnout layered over baby blue silk charmeuse—all custom dyed. It’s trimmed with mirrored blue and gold floral appliqués, gradient-dyed blue rayon fringe, denim blue tassels, and metallic gold braid trim.

This lampshade is made with a spider fitter and is appropriate for a small table lamp with a very short harp or no harp and a bulb clip. It’s pictured here on a 10" tall (to the top of the socket) antique lamp with a bulb clip attachment. I recommend you use an LED or low heat bulb with this lampshade to keep the silk in its best condition long-term. I usually use a 40 or 60W equivalent warm white bulb. In this case, you may want to go for a neutral tone to bring out the blue.
